The QuantumCamp Computing curriculum is in a league of its own in the Bay Area. The computing curriculum combines all of the methodologies of discovery and project-based learning that QuantumCamp has built their reputation on.

QuantumCamp does not focus on competition or toys. Students are learning real skills and techniques that give them not only technical advantages but also the confidence they need to approach the world head first and take charge.

Students will unlock the methods of building computers at the hardware, software, and microprocessor level.

It is not the goal that every student becomes a computer engineer. These programs are more truly designed to train students on how to problem solve and tackle real world problems with confidence. QuantumCamp is dedicated to providing a home for the natural passion for learning that students already have.
Computer Engineering
This is the next level of experience for students with an interest in computing. This is a must take course for any student intending to pursue a career in computing. This course has no equal anywhere in the Bay Area.

It will only be offered as a year long sequence broken into three 10-week sessions over our academic year quarters. The class will meet once a week for 2 hours.

Each quarter focuses students onto different key aspects of designing computing systems, going from hardware to software to design integration. At the end of each quarter students will complete the design and implementation of experimental apparatuses to be used by other students at our QuantumCampuses.

DIY Computer™
This is a one day course where students are given the pieces they need to build a complete computer system. In a matter of six hours they will have assembled their own computer and installed an operating system on that machine for less than the cost they would have paid in a store.

Students learn how to upgrade all the parts of their computer. They will know how to install a variety of operating systems onto their computer. Students love their experience and learn that extra degree of freedom that they need to take charge of the world around them.
