  • 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Morning session
  • 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch

Each classroom session also includes 1–2 recess breaks for students to play and have a snack.

WHAT DOES MY CAMPER NEED TO BRING?

We'll provide everything students need in class. All your camper needs is a bag lunch (no nuts, please!), a snack for morning and afternoon breaks, a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen or a hat for outside play. We ask that campers refrain from using technology during the camp day, with the exception of campers who use devices to record their work inside the classroom.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT LEVEL FOR MY camper?

We understand that there are many types of students and our courses are designed in such a way to accommodate many types of neuro-types, learning styles, and a range of skill levels. Explorers – Grades 1 & 2, Trailblazers – Grades 3 & 4, Pioneers – Grades 5 & 6, Innovators – Grades 7 & 8. Campers can either be rising into or graduating from these grade levels.

WHAT ARE YOU SIGN-IN/SIGN-OUT POLICIES?

Each student must be signed in and out each day. We ask that a parent or guardian sign for students in Levels 1 & 2. Students in Levels 3 & 4 may sign for themselves. Sign-in begins no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and students should be picked up promptly at 4:00 p.m. or you will be charged for aftercare.

WILL Campers FEEL LIKE THEY’RE IN SCHOOL?

Our academic summer camp has engaging hands-on experiments that are active, challenging and inspiring. There are no lectures and there are no worksheets, the QC classroom is a fun and exciting place to learn. Our programming includes many artistic and physical activities throughout the day.

DO YOU OFFER BEFORE CARE?

We do not offer before care and cannot have students dropped on site before 8:45 a.m.

WHO ARE YOUR CAMP COUNSELORS?

The QC summer team is comprised of math and science experts and enthusiasts from around the country who are professional educators, graduate students, and upper-level college students. Each counselor is vetted by the full-time QC teaching team and participates in an intensive teacher training program as well as ongoing professional development. Counselors undergo screening and background checks.
