Who is the QC Student?

Multiple Learning Styles
Students of all learning styles get to work and learn together in our thoughtfully constructed educational environment. More importantly, this diversity of learner is critical to the overall learning outcomes for our QED™ classroom.

Skeptics and Enthusiasts
We have two design goals for our courses:
  • convert skeptical students into lovers of a subject
  • share advanced analysis skills with subject lovers
Both student types and all students in between are strongly welcomed at QuantumCamp.

Team Learning
Our courses implement rich group dialogue and strong team work. We keep our teacher talking time to a minimum to make sure that students have the opportunity to really listen hard when it is important.

Student Journals
Students are expected to write their own book for each course, documenting their journey through the different educational activities.

Student Expectations

QuantumCamp is the best place for young adults to learn science. As such we expect the best behavior from our students. We equip our labs and courses with sophisticated materials and equipment. Some of our courses meet or exceed the levels found at many colleges throughout the country.

As such, we do not condone any kind of behavior that detracts from the kind of sophistication that each of student deserves. What we, our parents, and our students expect is the absolute best from each other, nothing less.

Tardiness: Students are expected to be in class and ready to participate at the stated start time for each class.

Participation: Students are expected to be alert and participate in class. Students are expected to treat instructors and each other in a courteous and polite manner.

Dress Code for Lab Classes: Students taking lab classes are expected to wear long pants (no shorts), close-toed shoes and have long hair tied back.  Clothing should be fitted and not baggy.

QuantumCamp LLC reserves the right to expel any student from any course who is deemed to be misusing equipment or compromising the safety and quality of experience of others.
