Residency
Once an internship is completed we may offer a three to four quarter residency with QuantumCamp. The residency will either be focused on instruction or curriculum design. Resident Instructors may be teaching several different courses and will focus their studies on the art of teaching. Resident Designers will typically be working on fewer courses and be focused on learning documentation and development methods.

QED for the Educator
(in development)

QED for Educators was founded on the principle that educators should be able to self-actualize in the context of a classroom and a school. To this end QuantumCamp is actively exploring different methods of how to facilitate actualization within the context of the education profession.

Below are some of the principles that we believe guide the development of future processes that can be implemented within the school environment.

  • Multi-faceted Professional
  • Experts in Their Field
  • Created by Educators - Run by Educators
  • Ideal Classroom Environments
  • Localized Decision Making
  • Large Classroom Budgets
  • Collaboration
  • Specialization in Instruction, Curriculum, and/or Leadership
  • The Art of Teaching
  • Hang-out Learning Time
  • The Portfolio
  • Educator Researcher
  • Community Outreach
As we move towards our long-term goal of designing a better school we will be refining and modifying the ideas above so that the educators of tomorrow will be able to find their place in education.
